Know MoreAmong several factors that play into your skydive, the weather is the most important one! Depending on the weather and availability of slots, your reserved skydive experience may move up or down. It is recommended to book slots early in the morning, around 7 AM to plan your day accordingly. You’ll be required to sign a few forms and complete the training session if the weather looks good.
Get enough rest before skydiving. It is normal to have a sleepless night if you're skydiving for the first time, but a good night’s sleep will help you enjoy this activity better. Ensure that you eat light and pack some snacks which will help you keep calm and grounded. Wear loose-fitted clothes so that you’ll feel comfortable the whole day. Yoga pants, leggings, a T-shirt, and a long-sleeved shirt or top would be ideal for this experience.
Your Dubai skydive experience begins as soon as you reach the facility. Since the experience is strictly dated and timed all guests are advised to check in about 15-20 minutes before their assigned slot, to complete the required documents on time. Following this, you’ll undertake a routine health check-up where the crew will access your height, weight, age, and other relevant factors.
About half an hour before you board the plane, you will be introduced to your instructor who will walk you through the whole procedure, give you a safety briefing, walk you through the best positions for the free fall that is soon to come, and help you put on your harness. You will be accompanied by a camera flyer who will interview you prior to boarding. While the solo skydivers jump alone, all tandem skydivers will be accompanied by a trained professional attached to them by a harness. The instructor controls the jump, parachute deployment, and landing completely.
You will then be taken to the boarding area, taking pictures all the while, as safety checks are conducted on all equipment and the aircraft itself. You will then board your aircraft and, as you ascend, get to marvel at breathtaking views of the surrounding areas. The ride on the way up is 20 minutes long and right before you reach exit altitude, a whopping 13,000 ft or 4,000 m, you will be harnessed to the front of your instructor, and checked over once more before jumping from the aircraft.
The entire skydiving experience lasts about 5-7 minutes. Following the freefall, which lasts about 60 seconds, you will get a few minutes to enjoy the incredible views 13,000 feet up in the air. Once the parachute is deployed you gently soar over Earth for about 5-7 minutes before landing.
During the landing stage, float back to the base while enjoying a 360-degree view of the captivating scenery around you. Upon reaching the base, you can collect photos and a specially edited video of your skydive experience.
All guests are required to be 18 years of age or above (according to the Gregorian calendar) on the day of the tandem skydive and must carry a government photo ID on the day of the skydive.

Avoid wearing loose-fitting clothes that can get stuck in the equipment. You'll be provided with a jumpsuit before the skydive, along with other necessary equipment.

Since skydiving is a weather-dependent sport, there is a chance that your dive can be rescheduled or cancelled if there’s rain, poor visibility, fog, or heavy wind. In such a situation, the centre will reschedule your skydive or generate a refund. Prepare to spend about 3-4 hours before your skydive to complete all the formalities while the weather clears, and ensure to arrive before your scheduled slot to complete the necessary paperwork and training.
